A Perfect Place to Pray

After enduring years of domestic abuse at the hands of her husband, veteran homicide detective Richard Spencer, Mae Spencer decides she's had enough. She takes her daughter and flees to Beau Ciel, Louisiana, and tries to put her life back together. She soon has a new job, a new home and even the promise of new love.
