(At the first beginning, Mo Xiong learnt dyeing and weaving for arts and crafts. After graduation, he moved his creative focus to painting gradually. The Chinese and foreign history of arts and crafts he learnt and the study of traditional craft flowers and plants and feathers also have some positive effects for his painting in the future. He focuses on painting techniques and craft production process maybe benefited from this. Technique and production process are often neglected. Some people think that painting requires only genius and idea by mistake so that the painters could paint as they wish. It’s wrong. Looking back the art history, no painting master despised technique and production. Of course, they became master not only because of the exceptional technique and production but also their thoughts, ideas and splendid modeling ability. They were excellent craftsmen.)
